About Badum and Klik Klak Studio
Last updated:
Badum is a baby heartbeat monitor and kick counter app for iPhone and Android, made by Klik Klak Studio, an independent app studio based in Ankara, Turkey.
Badum launched on Google Play and the App Store in 2026.
What Badum does
Badum amplifies the built-in microphone of an iPhone or Android phone so you can listen to the sounds from your bump, record them and save them to a dated heartbeat journal. Badum also has a kick counter for tracking sessions of kicks and rolls, and a share feature for sending a recording or a due-date card to your partner and family. Most parents first pick up sounds between week 20 and week 26, and what they hear can include blood flow and body sounds as well as the heartbeat.
What Badum is not
Badum is a keepsake and bonding app, not a medical device. It does not measure, diagnose or keep track of your baby's health, and it does not replace prenatal care. If you're worried about your baby's movements or anything else, contact your midwife or doctor.
The Harper family
@harperfamilytoons is Badum's animated pregnancy series on Instagram and TikTok. The short reels follow the Harpers through bump life, one busy tenant and all. They are how most people first hear about Badum, and the app's store links carry the Harper campaign tag for that reason.
